Woodmon Overview (In-Game Profile)

A Vegetation Digimon resembling a great withered tree. Made of normal wood, Woodmon catches Digimon that pass by and absorbs their energy to survive. It can also use its root-like limbs to move.

Brutal by nature, it attacks without rest when angered. Woodmon’s sturdy wooden trunk boasts high defense, but it’s extremely weak against flame and particularly Fire Digimon such as Meramon and Birdramon.

It uses its special move, Branch Drain, to extend its branch-like appendages, pierce the opponent, and absorb its energy.

Woodmon Digivolution

Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.

De-Digivolution

In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:

  • Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
  • Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.

Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
