How to Start the What’s That Wonderful Smell Quest
To begin the What’s That Wonderful Smell quest in Fantasy Life i, speak with Tetch on Reelum Pier in Eternia Village.
This quest becomes available during Chapter 4: The Polturnip and the Leafe.
What’s That Wonderful Smell Walkthrough
For this quest, you will need to deliver three Trout Meuniere. The recommended level for this quest is Level 20.
Craft Three Trout Meuniere
To craft all three Trout Meuniere, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- Lulab Trout x6
- Carrot x6
- Red Peppercorn x3
- Faraway Wheat x3
For the Lulab Trout you can find these fish in Lulab Forest on Faraway Island. Fish in the Small Fish Shallows.
For the carrots, you can either plant and then harvest them at your Base Camp or purchase them for 80 Dosh each at the Restaurant in the Capital of Mysteria or in Eternia Village at the Cook’s Guild Restaurant. You can also purchase them at Terrasa Farm on Faraway Island in the Material Shop and Restaurant.
For the Red Peppercorn, you can purchase it for 80 Dosh each from the Restaurant at Piccas Resort in the Tropica Isles.
You can purchase Faraway Wheat from the Restaurant at Terrasa Farm on Faraway Island for 50 Dosh.
Deliver Three Trout Meuniere
After acquiring the items, deliver them to Tetch to complete the quest. As a reward, you will receive five Chicken and 1200 Dosh.
