How to Start What’s for Dinner?

To begin What’s for Dinner?, travel to Lurelin Village, located in the southeastern region of Necluda, just south of East Necluda. Next, make your way toward the village center, where you’ll find Kiana standing near one of the houses.
Speak with her, and she will explain that she’s missing two key ingredients for her recipe: goat butter and a hearty blueshell snail. Next, when prompted, select the “Sure” option to accept her request and officially start the quest.

How to Complete What’s for Dinner?
Gathering the Hearty Blueshell Snail

To locate a hearty blueshell snail, begin by traveling to Clarnet Coast, situated west of Lurelin Village. As you explore, walk along the shoreline and scan the shallow waters for their distinct blue spiral shells. You may need to venture a short distance away from the village to spot them, so keep moving along the coast until you find some.
Purchasing Goat Butter
To obtain goat butter, head to a general store in one of Hyrule’s main villages. The easiest option is the shop in Hateno Village, which stocks goat butter regularly. Alternatively, you can visit the store in Kakariko Village or the merchant in Tarrey Town once it’s built. Simply purchase it from the shopkeeper for some rupees each.
Completing the Quest and Receiving Rewards
Once you have gathered both ingredients, return to Kiana in Lurelin Village and speak with her to hand them over. She will thank you for your help, reward you with 50 rupees, and invite Link to stay for dinner.
During the meal, you’ll also receive a serving of Seafood Paella, which restores 12 hearts worth of health. With that, the What’s for Dinner? side quest will be complete.
