How to Start the Wandering Merchant Quest
To begin the Wandering Merchant quest in Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma, interact with the Ema Plaque request board in Spring Village.

Peddlers who travel far and wide sell all sorts of exotic goods. Check out what’s on offer and buy anything that looks interesting!
Buy from a traveling peddler in the wild
The first Traveling Peddler we came across was at the Wayside Shrine Area Save Statue in the northern part of the Spring Region.
To access this area, you will need to have visited the Summer Region and acquired the ability to remove the purple Blight with the fire sword. Once you have the sword, return to this area and use it to disperse the Blight, allowing you to reach this area.
After purchasing an item from the Traveling Peddler, return to the Ema Plaque Request Board in Spring Village to complete this request. As a reward, you will receive the following:
