How to Start the Walking on Eggshells Quest
To begin the Walking on Eggshells side quest in The Outer Worlds 2, interact with the Bloody Spot on the ground just west of the Lightning Tower – Northeast. If you have any of the following, you can gain additional XP:
- Science 2 – Identify the Device
- Medical 2 – Examine the Blood More Closely
- Observation 2 – Investigate the Surrounding Area
If not, just select to pick up the device. Once you pick up the device, turn it on!
Tossball Card: Kory Molohon – This card can be found on the bag next to the bloody mess.
Walking on Eggshells Walkthrough
Follow the Tracking Signal
Travel to the cave just south of the bloody spot. Clear out the enemies then examine the corpse of the dead Auntie’s Choice researcher at the base of some climbable rocks. Upon examining the corpse, search his pockets to find a small metal capsule, which seems to be the target of the tracking device you acquired earlier.
Obtain a Gorvid Egg
To find the egg, climb the rock ledges to reach the top, then drop down to the other side. Clear the enemies, then loot the Gorvid Egg from the nest.
You can find the Tossball Card: B.R. Guthrie in one of the other nests, which increases damage by 1%.
Travel to the Auntie’s Choice Research Camp
Now it’s time to head south to Auntie’s Border Camp. Once there, speak with Head Gorvid Researcher Tedford and hand over the egg. As a reward for finding it, you will receive a Boarst Blaster and bits. The quest will then be completed!
