Varodurumon Overview (In-Game Profile)
A mythical Holy Bird Digimon that lives in the stratosphere, over 130,000 feet above ground. Varodurumon has six giant wings, with the largest pair having a nearly 100-foot wingspan. Referred to in myth as a guardian of the sky, legend has it that this ancient Digimon has existed ever since the creation of the Digital World.
Varodurumon’s feathers constantly give off the holy light known as “Purge Shine,” which serves as a barrier that completely nullifies any attack made with evil intent.
Its special move is Aurora Undulation, which amplifies the purifying light of Purse Shine to peak brightness before unleashing it upon its foes.

Where to Find Varodurumon
Varodurumon cannot be found while exploring the Human or Digital worlds. To add Varodurumon as a partner in Digimon Story Time Stranger, you’ll need to digivolve a lower-generation Digimon or de-digivolve a higher-generation Digimon into Varodurumon. Varodurumon Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.

Digivolution is the process of evolving a Digimon into a stronger form. Each Digimon can evolve along multiple branches depending on its stats, level, and personality. To digivolve a Digimon, you must meet certain requirements.
