Welcome to NGB and our Unicorn Overlord guide on the To Resist or To Yield quest! Learn how to begin and finish the quest, discover the rewards you’ll earn and the strategy we applied to conquer the battle stage. Keep in mind that we prioritized tasks like freeing forts, capturing bridges, and clearing watchtowers before meeting the victory conditions to maximize experience points, war funds, Honors, and renown, all crucial for strengthening the Liberation Army.
How to Start the To Resist or To Yield Quest
To begin the To Resist or To Yield quest in Unicorn Overlord, head west of the Fortified City of Solvaquad and approach the werewolf. After the cutscene, speak with the Govil then head to the far north of the area where you’ll find Bertrand. Approach him to trigger another cutscene where this time Bertrand will ask for your assistance in taking down the werewolf. Next, head to the middle of the map where you’ll find a fort. As you approach this area, an event will trigger and the banner will appear. Interact with it to begin the fight!
Battle Prep Phase
For this battle, you’ll mainly be facing Werebear and Werewolf enemies so plan your units accordingly.

Battle Stage
When you load into the map, you’ll find yourself in the center of the area. To the north Bertrand awaits in his Command Post and to the south Govil in his post. As you advance towards Bertrand, he’ll send his units into the woods for the element of surprise.
Be on the lookout for shiny objects on the ground throughout the battle stage. You’ll be able to receive the following items: Healing Font (L), Hallowed Corne Ash, Defensive Draught, Barricade Kit, Liquid Fortune and Hollowed Corne Ashe (in the south).
Chetretatsia Town
An armored unit will guard the bridge leading to town.

Tzontiesta Town
This town is protected by a catapult on the east and a bridge on the west. The enemy commander has healing assist.

Voronagru Town
This town can be found on the southwestern side of the area and is protected by a watchtower, providing ranged assist.

Lunaitsz Garrison
This garrison is protected by a watchtower with Arbalists that provide ranged assist.
Chogoraport Town
This town is found in the southwestern part of the battlefield just west of Govil’s Command Post and is within range of a ballista.

Command Post
Bertrand’s Command Post in the north has two enemy units guarding it. Once of those units is an Arbalist that provides ranged assist.
