Welcome to NGB and our Unicorn Overlord guide on the Ferocious Loyalty side quest! Learn how to begin and finish the quest, discover the rewards you’ll earn and the strategy we applied to conquer the battle stage. Keep in mind that we prioritized tasks like freeing forts, capturing bridges, and clearing watchtowers before meeting the victory conditions to maximize experience points, war funds, Honors, and renown, all crucial for strengthening the Liberation Army.
How to Start the Ferocious Loyalty Quest
To begin the Ferocious Loyalty quest in Unicorn Overlord, head west of Domgakom Town, crossing the bridge, to trigger a cutscene with Dinah.
Battle Prep Phase
For this battle, you’ll mainly be facing Werefox, Swordmaster and Sniper enemies so plan your units accordingly.

Battle Stage
When you load into the map, you’ll find yourself in the southeastern corner and the enemy’s Command Post will be in the northwestern corner. For this stage, you’ll have to rescue Rui being escorted to the southern gate. There are 3 areas to liberate. Kill the enemies attacking your barrier then send units north to deal with the town. Next, head over to the garrison to save Rui. Once saved, the objective will update to take the outpost.
Be on the lookout for shiny objects on the ground throughout the battle stage. You’ll be able to receive the following items: Defensive Draught, Beckoning Bell and Mantlet Kit.
Buryagora Garrison
This garrison can be found near the extraction point in the southwestern part of the area. There will be a couple of Werewolves and Swordmasters. To its east, you’ll find a watchtower and ballista.
Dachananya Town
This town can be found northwest of your Command Post, just north of the ballista. In order to reach it, you’ll need to take out a Sorcerer hunkered down at the bridge. Liberating this town will stop troops from spawning and constantly attacking your ballista. To the west of town, there is a catapult and the town is within its radius.

This Command Post’s commander is a Sniper accompanied by some Legionnaires and a Shaman. Also, there is a Warlock unit nearby to provide magick assist. East of this post you’ll find a watchtower.
