Welcome to NGB and our Kingdom Come Deliverance II walkthrough for the Troubadours quest! This guide will cover everything you need to know to easily complete this quest, including how to start the mission and the steps you will need to take to finish it.

How to Start the Troubadours Quest
To begin the Troubadours side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance II, speak with George and Michael, who are two aspiring minstrels sitting at a table at Zhelejob Wagoners’ Inn.
Troubadours Walkthrough
Get a lute
Travel to Troskowitz and enter the house next to the fast travel point. Inside on the wall you’ll find a loot. Grab it!
Take the lute to George and Michael
Return to Zhelejob Wagoners’ Inn and speak with George and Michael to hand over the lute.
Unfortunately, a drunk comes up and breaks the loot. If you can’t persuade everyone to resolve the issue amicably, you’ll need to give the drunkard a thrashing.
Find strings
To find strings to repair the loot, travel to Gamekeeper Vostatek southeast of Vidlak Pond and ask him about acquiring strings.
We had completed Gamekeeper Vostatek’s Lackey side quest.
Find sheep guts
He’ll want you to find some sheep guts. You can hunt down some sheep or purchase the sheep guts from the butcher on the east side of Troskowitz. Once you have the guts, return to the gamekeeper and he’ll make the guts into strings.
Take the lute strings to Michael and George
Travel back to Michael and George to give them the strings.
Pay off the debt to the innkeeper
Unfortunately your new friends racked up quite the debt. Speak with Innkeeper Lawrence about Michael and George’s debt. You can either pay it off (100 pre-haggle) or do the work of carrying 8 sacks and digging out a latrine. If you ask Michael and George to help do the work, you’ll lose rep.
If you choose to do the work, you’ll find the sacks nearby against the building next to a barrel on a wagon.
Carry them northwest into the barn and take a left towards the pile of hay. Place them on the pallet. For the latrine, head to the northeast side of the barn where you were placing the sacks. You’ll find a shovel in a pile of shit. Dig in the hole on the opposite side to dig out the latrine.
Once done, speak with the innkeeper.
Tell Michael and George the good news
Report back to Michael and George then watch the performance. Once it’s over, the Troubadours quest will complete.
