How to start Trial of the Dragon: Essence of Power
You’ll automatically begin the Trial of the Dragon: Essence of Power quest after completing the other trials.
Trial of the Dragon: Essence of Power Walkthrough
Dragon Temple
Travel to the Dragon Temple to trigger a cutscene then proceed inside. Once inside, you’ll be prompted to travel to a Magla Hollow. Select to visit the Divine Altar Path.
Before heading any further, make sure to save as the fight that is coming up will be tough. Once you’re ready, head up the path to trigger a boss fight.
Boss Fight – Elegy of the Soul
For this fight, you’ll face the Level 75 Elegy of the Soul who doesn’t have any weaknesses. He will take on the form of the prince. During the battle, he’ll cycle through the different Archetype and gets 5 turn actions. He’ll spend the first of the actions buffing himself and the last half attacking.
DO NOT use any equipment that causes you to repel any of his attacks, as it will instantly kill you! Also, YOU ONLY HAVE 24 TURNS TO WIN; otherwise, he will use a skill that kills your whole party.
After you beat this difficult boss, a cutscene will trigger and the quest will end!
Quest Rewards
As a reward for completing this quest, you’ll receive the Dragon’s Legacy, which is a Prince/Seeker weapon that has All stats +5, 430 ATK, 99 HIT and an effect where normal attacks become Almighty affinity.
