How to Start the Totem of Revelations Quest
To begin the Totem of Revelations side quest in Avowed, find one of the below totem fragments. Alternatively, purchase the Fragments of the Eyes from The Dead Swordfish tavern in Thirdborn for 500 gold.
Totem of Revelations Walkthrough
Find the Totem Core (aka Eyes of the Obscured)
To reach this totem base, head south of the Infected Homestead until you reach a cliff overlooking the ocean. Hop down to a ledge below and follow the path to reach an underground area. This base will be located inside the cave in the Shrine to Wael.
Find the Ruby Eye
From the base, continue heading through the cave via the small tunnel. You’ll reach an outdoor area where the Ward of the Eye can be found. Speak with her and answer her questions to receive this totem fragment.
Find the Amethyst Eye
You’ll find this fragment on a rock under a rock overhang southeast of Scaedclef.
Find the Sapphire Eye
You can find the Sapphire Eye at the bottom of the Sand Sea Oasis, right next to the Tricker’s Gloves, a unique item.
Find the Emerald Eye
From the Sharks Teeth party camp, head east down the ramp, then climb up to the top of the scaffolding in front of you to find the Emerald Eye amongst the rubble next to a small chest.
Find the Agate Eye
You’ll find the Agate Eye on a table in the main structure of the Sand Sea Ruins. You’ll come here during the Heart of Valor side quest.
Find the Topaz Eye
You’ll find this Topaz Eye in the Leviathan’s Hollow.
Restore the Eyes of the Obscured
Travel to any party camp and find the stone with candles on it. Interact with the bottom right section to place the base of the totem. Once you’ve done that, place all the fragments on it to trigger an event. Once it concludes, the quest will complete. As a reward, you’ll receive buffs from each of the fragments you received.
