How to Start the Tools of the Trade Quest
To begin the Tools of the Trade side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, speak with Isha in Gerudo Town.
Please note that you must wear the Gerudo armor set in this area, as you will be unable to enter the town without it.
How to Complete the Tools of the Trade Quest
Isha, the jeweler, is in a bind. She ran out of the flint she needs to keep making her accessories. She says that she can reopen her store if you bring her 10 pieces of flint.
Find 10 Pieces of Flint
Flint can be found in rocky areas scattered throughout Hyrule, often on ledges, mountainsides, or cliffs. To collect it, locate an ore deposit and use either a bomb or a Stone Smasher weapon to break it apart. With a bit of luck, flint will pop out along with other minerals, so keep an eye out as you explore these rugged areas.
Deliver the Pieces of Flint
Once you’ve gathered all 10 pieces of flint, return to Isha to complete the quest. In gratitude, she will craft a unique accessory for you, choosing from a ruby, sapphire, or topaz. Each gem grants a special ability: rubies offer cold resistance, sapphires provide heat resistance, and topaz delivers electric resistance. This reward makes your journey across Hyrule a little easier, no matter the environmental challenge.
