How to Start The Wandering Scholar Quest
To begin The Wandering Scholar quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, speak with Azzan in the Anvil Mages Guild about “Contract” after completing The Fugitives quest.
The Wandering Scholar Walkthrough
Meet Elante of Alinor
Travel to Brittlerock Cave, which is northwest of Kvatch.
Once there, head inside and speak with Elante of Alinor.
Follow Elante
Follow Elante as she makes her way through the cave, protecting her as she goes. We found that it helped to run ahead, taking out the enemies then returning to her and waiting as she slowly made her way through the cave. Eventually, she’ll reach the altar and speak with you. You’ll learn that she wishes to remain behind.
Return to Azzan
Return to Azzan in the Anvil Fighters Guild and speak with him to gain your payment of 500 gold. The quest will then complete!
