Welcome to NGB! In this guide, we’ll cover The Spring of Power shrine quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This quest begins at the Spring of Power, located east of Hyrule Castle in the Akkala region. Here, Link encounters a Goddess Statue that asks him to bring Dinraal’s scale as an offering. To complete the quest, you’ll need to track down the fire dragon Dinraal, collect a scale, and return it to the statue. Doing so will unlock the hidden shrine. To begin The Spring of Power side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, speak with Nobo at East Akkala Stable in the Akkala Region.
How to Complete The Spring of Power Quest
Visit the Spring of Power
You’ll find the Spring of Power southwest of the East Akkala Stable between North Akkala Valley and the Ordorac Quarry.
If you head there and interact with the goddess statue, you’ll receive the following message:
- Offer Dinraal’s scale received from the red spirit to the Spring of Power
Obtain Dinraal’s Scale
To make the shrine appear, you’ll need to offer up one of Dinraal’s Scales. The best place to encounter Dinraal is at the Tabantha Great Bride, just next to the Tabantha Bridge Stable in the Hyrule Ridge region.
Make your way to the bridge, create a campfire, and rest until morning. After a few moments, Dinraal will be flying under the bridge. This will allow you to glide down and shoot off one of its scales. Follow where it lands and pick it up.
Offer Dinraal’s Scale
Once you have the scale, return to the spring and drop it into the water in front of the Goddess Statue.
This will cause the door behind the statue to open, giving you access to the shrine, completing the quest.
