How to Start The Sinkhole Stroll Quest
To begin The Sinkhole Stroll side quest in Avowed, approach the hole at Felipe’s Depression in Emerald Stair where someone is calling out for help.
The Sinkhole Stroll Walkthrough
An animancer’s workshop has fallen into a gigantic sinkhole that contains a Godless ruin. Explore the sinkhole.
Find the Distressed Animancer
To start your search for the distressed animancer, make your way down to the bottom of the sinkhole and take out the enemies there. You can simply jump into the hole, as water will break your fall at the bottom.
Save Old Felipe
Once you reach Old Felipe, speak with him!
Retrieve Old Felipe’s Research
After speaking with Felipe, exit the room on the western side and follow the path, taking out enemies as you come across them.
From the enemies, enter the next room, and by the stairs, you’ll find the research on the ground. Nearby, there will be a tomb with a skeleton inside. Burn the webs and loot the Rusty Key.
If you climb up the stairs in the room open the door at the top of the stairs to find the Sun and Moon unique shield!
Return to Old Felipe
Report back to Old Felipe. The Sinkhole Stroll side quest will complete and you’ll receive 550 gold.
