How to Start The Sacrifice of Souls
To begin The Sacrifice of Souls quest, speak with Emmrich at the Lighthouse after completing the Blood of Arlathan main quest and speaking with Solas.

The Sacrifice of Souls Walkthrough
For this quest, travel to Blackthorne Manor.

Afterwards, head up the stairs and investigate the front door of the mansion. Next, head west and climb up the ladder on the mansion to reach the Guest Room.
Follow the path west to reach the North West Wing where you’ll be able to watch Manfred from the balcony.
After listening in, you’ll get a clue on how to locate Hezenkoss’s lantern. Travel to the Blackthorne Library where you’ll find a group of enemies. Take them out then head to the northeastern part of the library on the landing between the first and second floor to find the tome on the landing.
Afterwards, exit the library and head down to the Servant’s Wing on the first floor where you’ll find Manfred. Give him the tome then return to the North West Wing and watch Manfred from the balcony.
Next, follow Emmrich to the shrine. Speak with Manfred then head inside.

When the cutscene ends, head west and follow the path to find the Secret Passage.
In this passage, you’ll find a bunch of levers. Look on the wall to find 3 images.
You’ll need to pull the levers under the correct symbols. For the lever behind the gate, you’ll need to find a wisp to open it.
When you’re ready to continue with the quest, head to the objective, where you’ll find Hezenkoss’s Workshop. Defeat the enemies inside as you work your way towards the lantern.

After your conversation, you’ll fight Hezenkoss. Take her down.

Once your choice has been made, the quest will complete.
