How to Start The Rarest of Eggs Quest
To begin The Rarest of Eggs quest in Octopath Traveler 0, speak with the man in the house east of the item shop in Cragspear.
The Rarest of Eggs Walkthrough
A wealthy gourmand is in search of a great chef. Who can cook up the eggs of a rare bird in a dish that’s a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach?
Search for a chef to satisfy the gourmand
Next, travel to the tavern in Cragspear and use the Inquire Path Action on the guy to the left of the bar. You will then need to use the Hire Path Action to get the Artistic Chef to become your helper.
Take the chef to the gourmand
With the chef in tow, return to the gourmand in the house east of the item shop.
Search for another chef to satisfy the gourmand
After the cutscene, travel to the second floor of the Cragspear inn and use the Inquire Path Action on the Fastidious Cook. You’ll then need to use the Hire Path Action to get him to become your Helper. Make sure to keep the other chef as your Helper!
Take the chef to the gourmand
With the chef in tow, return to the gourmand.
Take both chefs to the gourmand
Once the cutscene ends, re-enter the house and speak with the Gourmand. He’ll finally be satisfied and the quest will complete. As a reward, you will receive the following:
- Good-Luck Omelette Recipe
- Catsip
