Golden Ridge is home to more than just quest objectives — it’s filled with unique locations, hidden interactions, and optional activities that reward curious explorers. This section highlights all the points of interest in Dorado’s Golden Ridge that aren’t tied to specific quests but are still well worth investigating.
Give Medicine to Horst from Doc Beardsley
Inside the main building at Golden Ridge, speak with Doc Hollis Beardsley and exhaust all his dialog options.
Next, head to the northwestern side of camp to find a coughing Horst Lamping.
Talk to him and provide the Enhanced Zenith Biotics that Doc Hollis Beardsley requested you to bring. If you have Speech 5, you can request bits.
Visit Sub Rosa Agent Kobor
On the southwestern side of Matriarch’s Mercy in Golden Ridge, you can purchase two Advanced Decryption Keys from Sub Rosa Agent Kobor, the Back Alley Value shop in a train car. To enter the car, you will need to have completed the Schemes of the Secret Smugglers side quest!
After speaking with her once, talk to her again for her to mention the Missive From the Lost Days quest.
Adopt the Zyranium Mantiwasp Pet
The Zyranium Mantiwasp can be purchased from Bonnie’s Battlefield Bazaar at Fort Endurance on Dorado’s Golden Ridge for 2,000 bits.
Help the Injured Verachnid Hiveling
From the Guardian Estates fast travel point, head southeast, following along the river, to stumble upon an Injured Verachnid Hiveling next to a crystal formation.
Heal it using one of the following methods:
- Trauma Kit
- Medical 8
- Nature’s Friend Perk
Once healed, it will become a pet on your ship!
