How to Start the Search For the Safe Key
First, head to your quarters aboard the Incognito. In front of the locked safe, you’ll find the Crumbled List lying on the floor.
Inspecting this note reveals that the safe key was hidden with someone — or rather, something — called VAL.
Talk to VALERIE
Next, speak with VALERIE on the ship. When prompted, choose the dialogue option:
“Do you know where the keycard to the safe in the commander’s quarters is?”
VALERIE will admit that she knows exactly where it’s hidden: behind the skip drive in the engine room.
Find the Safe Key in the Engine Room
Make your way to the engine room of the Incognito. Behind the skip drive, just as VALERIE described, and you’ll spot the Commander’s Safe Key tucked away along the railing. Pick it up to add it to your inventory.
Open the Safe
With the key in hand, return to your quarters and unlock the Commander’s Safe. Inside, you’ll discover a stash of valuable loot — a few goodies worth your time.
