To kick off The Neverending Quarry side mission in Borderlands 4, make your way to the Terminus District of the Dominion. From the Praetor’s Lecture, head south and climb the stairs until you reach a bright red chest.
It looks like a simple loot opportunity, but don’t be fooled—this chest holds more than meets the eye.
How to Complete The Neverending Quarry Quest
Defeat the wave of enemies
Once you open the chest, you’ll immediately discover it is far from ordinary. Instead of treasure, a bomb pops out, forcing you to quickly leap back to avoid a messy explosion.
Almost immediately after, Horatio’s voice chimes in, letting you know that you’ve just fallen for his prank. But the joke isn’t over—he’ll summon a group of enemies to give you a proper challenge. Take them out to successfully complete the mission and revel in the mix of humor and combat that defines this quirky side quest.
