How to Start The Mole’s Gambit Quest
To begin The Mole’s Gambit side mission in Borderlands 4, speak with Levaine in Carcadia after completing A Traitor Within.
How to Complete The Mole’s Gambit Quest
Prepare for an all-out assault against the Electi. Are you and Levaine up to the challenge of saving these angry aristocrats?
Destroy Willem’s 5 Devices
Now it’s time to undo your work. You’ll need to retrace your steps to find and destroy all 5 of the devices you placed in Carcadia for Willem by meleeing them. If you need help remembering where they are located, please check out our Enter the Electi Part 2 side mission.
Find 3 EMP Parts
To find the EMP parts, travel north to The Marrow Narrows. When you arrive, grab the EMP part from the top of the tall structure.
Next, you’ll need to scan the ball on the ground at the next objective.
For the last EMP part, travel to the northern side of the search area and jump through the open shipping containers suspended in the air.
Find Order Convoy
After you’ve found the EMP parts, travel south of Crumblehall in the Grindstone of the Worthy. At the objective, you’ll find the Order convoy along the main road.
Once you’ve eliminated the enemy forces, hack the convoy signal by using the green box on the back of a semi truck.
Breach Order Depot
Now that you have the coordinates, travel to the southeastern part of the Grindstone of the Worthy just past The Excrucible. Once there, enter the depot through the broken section of wall.
Assemble EMP
When you reach the interior portion of the depot, head to the upper level. When you reach the large open room, assemble the parts of the EMP in the center of the room. You’ll then need to fend off waves of enemies as the EMP charges.
Get to Willem
Continue deeper into the facility to find a pair of vending machines and the signature boss fight hole. Stock up then jump inside to take on Leader Willem. He’ll have a bar of Shield and a bar of Armor.
Talk to Levaine
After eliminating Leader Willem, return to Levaine in Carcadia to complete the faction mission.
