How to Begin The Mad Priest
To begin The Mad Priest fieldwork quest in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, you must collect Catherine’s Letter from the Vatican Post Office.
You’ll find it in the room that you can gain access to by using the Clerical Key to unlock the door.
The Mad Priest Walkthrough
For this quest, you’ll need to find Sister Catherine in the Sistine Chapel, which is on the southern side of the area. She’ll be sitting in a chair and has a cane.
After speaking with the sister, make your way over to Antonio’s office and speak with him to inquire about the book Sister Catherine requested.
During the cutscene, you’ll receive the Sewers Key. Once it concludes, make your way to the Sewers. The entrance can be found at the bottom of the Tower of Nicholas V.
When you’re in the Sewers, follow the path forward and use the key to unlock the door, which will wake a sleeping guard. Knock him out then continue following the path until you reach the circular room with water.
In this room, pass over the broken walkway then cross the bridge. On the wall in front of you, you’ll see some white paint. Use this then follow the path up as you maneuver to the top of this room. Watch out as your stamina will decrease as you climb! Stop moving periodically so it can regenerate!!
At the top of the room, exit through the doorway then head into the palace. Use your key to open the door then you’ll need to look for Crescenzo’s Diary, which can be found inside a trunk.
Now that you finally have the book, return to Sister Catherine to hand it over. A cutscene will trigger and the quest will end.
