How to start The Incarnate in the Woods
To begin The Incarnate in the Woods quest, travel to a Recruitment Center in any of the main cities and speak with the Recruiter Dispatcher then select the Ordemos, Grudge’s Fang bounty.
The Incarnate in the Woods Walkthrough
Gather Intel
Travel to the Skyward Tavern at Altabury Heights and speak with the Informed Woman inside. You’ll then want to purchase the “Giant of the Abandoned Path” intel. You’ll learn about the main enemy, Ordemos, and that when it builds up strength, dispel it to throw it off. He’s also weak to Dark attacks and reflects Electric.
Travel to Abandoned Path
Head to the Gauntlet Runner and use the round table to set your destination for the Abandoned Path in Altabury Heights area. It’s a two day ride to reach this area.
When you arrive, you’ll notice 4 objective markers on your map. Head to each of these locations and defeat the Rigopetia located there. The Rigopetia are weak to Ice, resist Fire and don’t take damage from Wind attacks. Its attacks also have a chance of inflicting Burn or Paralysis.
After you defeat the third Rigopetia, the boss will show up.
Boss Fight – Ordemos
Ordemos is weak to Dark, resists Slash, Pierce and Strike, and repels electric. This boss will decrease your attack and defense stats and attack you with physical attacks.
After Ordemos has been defeated, you’ll receive the Bloodstained Talon.
Since the creature has been defeated, return to the Recruitment Center to turn in the bounty.
Quest Rewards
For completing this quest, you’ll receive an increase to Courage and 112,500 reeve.
