The Elven Maiden Walkthrough
Armand of the Thieves Guild asks you to steal the bust of Llathasa Indarys from Cheyhindal. They will pay you 100 gold coins.
Steal the Bust of Lathasa Indarys

Travel to the town of Cheydinahl, located northeast of the Imperial City. If you want to gather some intel, locate the beggar, Luckless Lucina, wandering around the town.

Speak with her about the bust, then offer to pay her 15 gold for the information. You’ll learn that Count Indarys had the bust commissioned recently, and it’s rumored to have been carved by the Elves. He put it in the Chapel Undercroft near her tomb and stationed a guard there to keep it safe. She’ll also mention that people think that the undercroft is haunted.

With that information, travel to the Great Chapel of Arkay on the eastern side of town, then head inside. Descend the stairs in front of you and take a right to reach the door to the Undercroft. You’ll need to pick the hard lock on it to gain access.
Once inside, head straight and take the first left. You should spot the bust next to the tomb straight ahead. Be mindful of the guard stationed here. They will patrol the Undercroft, so wait until they head in the opposite direction, then sneak up and take the bust.

Deliver the Bust to Armand
Now that you have the bust in your possession, exit the Undercroft and return to Armand at the Imperial City Waterfront. Upon arriving at the Waterfront, the quest will update. You’ll see that the Waterfront is crawling with the Imperial Watch, which means that Armand won’t be showing up at the usual spot at midnight. You’ll need to find out where he is hiding by asking other members of the Thieves Guild.
Find Other Members of the Thieves Guild
If you open up your map and check out the houses nearby, you’ll see that one of them happens to be Methredhel’s House. Wait until 8 am, then you should be able to head inside the house.

Once inside, wait an hour at a time; eventually, Methredhel will show up. She’ll approach you, saying that the job you took for Armand was to flush out an informant in the guild. That person turned out to be the Dark Elf, Myvryna Arano, who happens to have a house in the Waterfront. Your new instructions from Armand are to plant the bust in her cupboard. After that, you’ll need to track down Hieronvmus Lex and rat her out to him.
Plant the Bust at Myvryna’s House
With your new marching orders, it’s time to serve up a mole! Head to Myvryna Arano’s House. It happens to the house next to Methredhel’s.

When you arrive, you’ll need to pick the hard lock (while sneaking) on the door to gain access. Inside, the cupboard will be along the wall to the right of the bed. We went in around 12:15 pm. During that time, Myvryna was asleep inside. Head inside just enough to interact with the cupboard and plant the bust. You’ll then want to turn around and head back out the door quickly.

Tip Off Lex
Now that the bust has been planted, it’s time to tip off Lex. He should be nearby, hounding people for intel on Armand. Speak with him to tell him about the bust. You’ll need to raise his disposition to 70 for him to believe you. Follow behind him into the house to watch the event play out.

Report Back to Armand
With this whole mess finally taken care of, all that’s left is to report back to Armand. You’ll need to wait until midnight for him to show back up at his usual spot at the Garden of Dareloth in the Waterfront. Speak with Armand when he arrives, and he’ll thank you for your help, promoting you to the guild rank of Bandit. You can now use Dar Jee of Leyawiin as your fence. Armand will also pay you 100 gold for your work, completing the quest.
Speak with him again and ask about special jobs. He’ll say that you’ll need to speak with S’krivva in Brail from now on to get new work due to your new rank. This may begin the Ahdarji’s Heirloom quest!
