How to Start The Devil’s Pack Quest
The Devil’s Pack main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance II will automatically begin after completing the Speak of the Devil main quest.
The Devil’s Pack Walkthrough
Ask Kubyenka about the rest of the band
You’ll find Kubyenka on the second floor balcony. Speak with him and ask about the rest of the band.
Talk to Bohuta
Travel to Grund and speak with Bohuta at the church on the southern side of town.
You’ll learn that he doesn’t want to rejoin the gang, but will tell you of Ranyek’s whereabouts.
After speaking with Bohuta, follow behind him. When he stops, you’ll engage in another conversation. Once finished, let him say a prayer. If you do it, he’ll get salty.
Find Matthew
Fast travel along the main road between Suchdol and Miskowitz to encounter Matthew the Collector. He says he doesn’t want to return to the group and demands that you pay a 1,000 groschen tax. You can either pay it, convince him to let you go, or attack all the bandits.
Ask about Ranyek at the inn
Travel to the Pschitosky inn, which is south of Pschitoky, and ask Innkeeper Wolfram Raus about Ranyek.
Talk to the butcher’s wife in Pschitoky
Speak with Eva to gather more information. You can also give her a painkiller brew.
Rescue Adder
Head east out of town to find the butcher and a group of people.
After the cutscene, you’ll need to cut Adder down from the tree by interacting with the prompt on the rope closest to the tree. Next, approach Adder and use the prompt to untie him. At that point, it’s up to you on whether you let him kill the villagers or not.
Ask about Ranyek at the inn
Travel to the inn at Bylany and speak with Dice Player Zdena. Afterward, follow the dice players to a pig pen and speak with Pepa. Unfortunately, he’ll want you to pay Ranyek’s debt. You can pay him, beat him up, or convince him that you don’t need to pay for him. Before leaving, examine the sludge. About the middle, you’ll find Ranyek’s body. Pull him out then loot Ranyek’s bow, which is pretty awesome!
Find Janosh
Travel to the stocks in Miskowitz to find Janosh.
Get Janosh out of the pillory
Talk to Miskowitz Bailiff Crux and ask what he wants with Janosh. Agree to heal Loyza, who is lying nearby on a bed. Inspect Loyza and examine his injuries by passing a skill check. Next, you’ll need to get Buck’s Blood by crafting it (check out our Crafting Potion Guide for how to make it) or purchasing it from an apothecary.
Once you have the potion, give it to Loyza then speak with the bailiff. He’ll want you to cough up 500 groschen before he frees Janosh. Hand it over then you’ll receive the pillory key. Return to Janosh and free him.
Talk to the Dry Devil
Travel to the Devil’s Den and speak with the Dry Devil to trigger a cutscene. After the party, speak with the Dry Devil again. The Devil’s Pack main quest will then end.
