The Crowned Beast Quest Walkthrough
How to Start The Crowned Beast Quest
To begin The Crowned Beast shrine side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, speak with Kass north of Rabia Plain in Lanayru, and he’ll sing a song about the shrine.
How to Complete The Crowned Beast Quest
For this quest, you’ll need to solve the following song’s riddle to find the shrine:
“A beast that wears a crown of bone, prancing through the lush green. Mount the beast upon its throne, for only then the shrine is seen.”
Solve the Song’s Riddle
In the plains near the shrine, search for a buck (male deer with antlers on its head).
Hop on the buck, soothe it, then ride it to the orange platform in front of Kass.
The Mezza Lo Shrine will then appear on the hill to the right of Kass (when facing him), and the quest will complete.
Before leaving, feel free to head inside the shrine where you acquire a Thunderblade.
