How to Start The Blade of the Weak Quest
To begin The Blade of the Weak quest in Octopath Traveler 0, speak with the man south of the save point on the dock in Rippletide after completing the Bestower of Power: Ch. 3 Tatloch the Lady of Grace quest. The recommended level for this quest is 45.
The Blade of the Weak Walkthrough
A gang of pirates in the Middlesea is causing trouble for local merchants. Go with Viator to take care of the problem.
Set out to defeat the pirates
Next, travel to the Isle in the Middlesea. When you arrive at the island, head west to trigger a cutscene with Viator.
Defeat the pirates on the isle
Once you gain control, head to the central part of the island to encounter the pirates dressed in soldiers’ attire.

Bring the Pardis loyalists to Castle Edoras
After you defeat the trio, travel to Cragspear. Upon your arrival, head to the northwest corner and speak with Chief Vassal Krauser on the bridge leading to the castle. As a reward, you will receive a Gold-Filled Pouch and the side story will finish.
