How to Start Mired in Muck
You can begin the Mired in Muck side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom by interacting with Bazz at the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower. He can be found near the base of the tower stuck in some black sludge and is unable to move. He will ask Link to help free him from his precurious perdicament. Luckily for him, Link is on the case!
Completing Mired in Muck
To free Bazz, you’ll need to splash some water on the sludge to make it disolve. You can do so by using a weapon witha hydrant attached. Alternatively, there will be some Slash Fruit growing nearby. Pick some of those then attach it to an arrow and shoot it at the sludge. This will wash it away! Using a Blue Chuchu Jelly will also have the same effect.
Once freed, speak with Bazz to check in on him. He’ll thank Link for helping and give him a Zora Spear as a reward, thus completing the side quest.
If you are full on weapons, then you’ll will not be able to accept the spear, which prevents the quest from completing. Come back when you have space and it should complete then.
