How to Start the Gloom Borne Illness
To start the Gloom-Borne Illness side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, travel to Kakariko Village then locate and speak with Lasli. She’ll tell Link that she’s looking for a porridge that will counteract the gloom sickenss and provides our hero with a grocery list of ingridents that she needs him to track down.
Completing the Gloom Borne Illness
Gather the Ingridents
To create this spectacular gloom fighting porridge, you’ll need to gather some Hylian rice, fresh milk, and Sundelions. You can find the required materials from the below locations:
- Sundelions – Grow on the Sky Islands
- Hylian Rice – Purchase from shops and wandring travelers
- Fresh Milk – Purchase from shops and wandring travelers
Cook Up the Gloom Fighting Porridge
Now that you have all of the ingridents, find your nearest cooking pot and get to work! Craft the porridge using the Sundelions, Hylian Rice, and Fresh Milk. The end results should be the Sunny Veggie Porridge.
Deliver the Porridge
Once you’ve crafted the Sunny Veggie Porridge, return to Lasli in Kakariko Village and speak with her to hand over the porridge, thus completing the quest. Link will be rewarded with discount! All of the price of all the gear in the Armor Shop will now be a bit lower.
