The Task Master side mission in Borderlands 4 has you teaming up with Kilo to raid an abandoned Order pod. What starts as a simple bit of scavenging quickly turns into a chance to snag some easy loot while doing your “civic duty” of cleaning up after the Order’s mess.

How to Start the TASK Master Quest
To begin the TASK Master side mission in Borderlands 4, speak with Kilo at The Launchpad in The Howl after completing the TASK and Ye Shall Receive side mission.
How to Complete the TASK Master Quest
The Order has a bad habit of leaving their valuables scattered across the map, and it’s up to you and Kilo to “help” clean up the mess. Of course, your idea of cleaning involves pocketing everything that isn’t nailed down.
Find Order pod
After accepting the mission, travel just south of Wyclef’s Reprieve safehouse in Idolator’s Noose. When you arrive at the Order pod, clear out the pesky enemies.
Punch button to start
When you are ready to begin the mini game, melee the button. Follow Kilo’s instructions to open the Order pod. Once the pod has been opened, the mission will complete. Before leaving, make sure to loot the chest inside the pod.
