How to obtain The Sotted Sage quest
To begin The Sotted Sage quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2, speak with Lamond in the hot spring at the Volcanic Island Camp.
The Sotted Sage Objectives
Give Lamond what he seeks
For this objective, you’ll need to find a particular gift that will loosen Lamond’s parched tongue. First, you’ll need the Beastren Mask equipped, which you can purchase it from Ibrahim’s Scrap Store in Checkpoint Rest Town for 8700G. Next, travel to Higgs’s Tavern Stand in the Residential Ward of Bakbattahl.
When you reach the tavern, look to the right of the entrance to find a gated area. There will be a bunch of bags stacked on top of each other. Carry one of the bags into the fenced in area, which will cause you to be escorted inside. Once inside, speak with the proprietor and purchase all 3 Newt Liqueurs for a total of 15,000G.
Return to Lamond in the hot spring at Volcanic Island Camp and speak with him multiple times to hand over the 3 Newt Liqueurs. After handing over the first item, you’ll have the option to give him multiple ones at once. We chose not to do this and just gave him 1 each time. As a reward for completing this quest, you’ll unlock the Warfarer vocation.
