How to obtain the Out of the Forest Into the Forge quest
You’ll automatically begin the Out of the Forest Into the Forge quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2 after completing The Ailing Arborheart.
Out of the Forest Into the Forge Objectives
Report back to Doireann
Return to Sacred Arbor and speak with Doireann who will request that you gather ingredients for her.
Obtain the ingredients for nutriabh
For this quest, Doireann will require rotten apples and rotten fish. You can catch fish under the bridge leading to the inn in Sacred Arbor.
Apples can be collected from bushes in the world. You’ll need to give them some time to rotten once you’ve gathered them. When you’ve collected the ingredients, return to Doireann to hand them over. After a cutscene, select that you’re ready to depart.
Deliver the nutriabh to Sara
Travel all the way back to Bakbattahl (sorry guys… no portcrystal unless you put one there!). Once you get there, speak with Sara at the smithy.
Follow Sara
Travel northwest of Bakbattahl to reach Straggler’s Cave.
Gather plenty of scalecinder
Head into the cave and collect the green powder. We found 6! Make sure to break the crates to find the ones hidden underneath. Once you’ve found the scalecinder, speak with Sara to complete this quest. As a reward, you’ll receive Warbler Capelet and 13,000G.
