by This is a guide on the collectibles found in the Jarnsmida Pitmines in God of War Ragnarok (GOWR) for 100% area completion. In this area, the following collectibles can be found:
- Nornir Chest x1
- Legendary Chest x1

- Artifacts x2
- Odin’s Raven x1
- Berserker Gravestone x1
- Remnants of Asgard x1
Artifact – Lofnheid’s Whetstone
This artifact can be found along the water shortly after arriving here.
Odin’s Raven
This raven can be found flying above the water near the above artifact.
Nornir Chest
This chest can be found after freezing the water on a water wheel then grappling across to the other side. It’s along the main path and you can’t miss it!
To open it, light the brazier next to it. To reach the second brazier, drop down to the left of the chest. Then grapple across. Light this brazier then grapple back and stop the water flowing. The next brazier will be under the base of the water wheel. Open it to receive a Horn of Blood Mead.
Lore – The Pit-Mine
From the Nornir chest, drop down to the left side of it then use the grapple point under the water wheel to jump the gap. Once you land on the other side, take a left to find it carved into the rock.
Artifact – Tool and Bang
Near the entrance to the mines, take the path heading west. This will bring you to an aqueduct that you can move using the Blades of Chaos. This will trigger the giant crane in the area to swing around. Climb on top of the block its holding then use the axe to freeze the water in the aqueduct. This will cause the crane to move back to its original position. Jump off the block and follow the path to reach the artifact.
Legendary Chest
This chest can be found next to the above artifact. Open the chest to receive the Pommels of the Undying Spark.
