The Stranded on Eventide Shrine Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of the most challenging and memorable trials in the game. When you set foot on Eventide Island in the southeastern seas, all of your equipment is stripped away, forcing you to survive with only what you can find. To complete the quest, you must defeat enemies, gather orbs, and solve puzzles while adapting to the island’s dangers. How to Start the Stranded on Eventide Quest
To begin the Stranded on Eventide shrine quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, listen to the voice that you’ll hear when you arrive at Eventide Island.
How to Complete the Stranded on Eventide Quest
Upon arriving on Eventide Island, a voice spoke of a challenge and then took all of your weapons and armor away. If you offer precious orbs to each of the three altars on the island, the voice has promised to return your things.
Offer Precious Orbs to each of the Three Altars
While naked and afraid, you must navigate the island, avoiding the enemies, collecting three orbs, and placing the orbs on the platforms.
Precious Orb #1
This orb can be found on the necklace of the sleeping Hinox, who can be found near the center of the island.
The easiest way to grab this orb is to glide to the sleeping Hinox from the mountain. Once you land on him, take the orb and avoid the enemies as you bring it to the southwestern mountain.
At the top of this mountain, you’ll find an enemy encampment. You’ll need to remove the debris from the platform then place the orb on it.
Precious Orb #2
At Koholit Rock, you’ll find an enemy encampment. On one of the tall wooden platforms, you’ll find a precious orb.
Near this wooden platform, you’ll spot a rock on a pedestal.
Use Statis on the rock to launch it off the platform. Once the rock is clear, place the orb on the platform.
Precious Orb #3
In the woods north of Koholit Rock near the “Island” of Eventide Island on the map, you’ll find another enemy encampment. On the top level of this fortress, you’ll find another orb.
Retrieve this orb, then bring it to the platform at the northern tip of the island. To reach the platform that is slightly in the water, you’ll need to use Cryonis to freeze the water.
Enter the Korgu Chideh Shrine
Once all orbs have been placed on the platforms, the quest will complete, and you’ll get all your gear back! The Korgu Chideh Shrine will also be revealed atop the Koholit Rock. Inside this shrine, you’ll find a chest containing 300 rupees.
