How to Start the Storm Quest
The Storm main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance II will automatically begin after completing The Finger of God.
Storm Walkthrough
Search for the orders in the scribe’s chambers
Before setting out, loot the guard that Katherine took out. Once you’re ready, you’ll find yourself on the Maiden’s side. Work your way over to the Crone’s. Obviously, any guards along the way will be hostile. Either fight or avoid them. The armory will be along the way as it’s connected to the kitchen if you want to plunder it, too!
When you reach near the forge, a cutscene will trigger.
Once it ends, continue making your way to the Crone’s side. When you arrive, head on up to the scribe’s chambers just past the rock stairs in the room to the left. Investigate the two chests by the bed, cupboard by the desk, and shelf near the door you came through to learn that nothing is here.
Search for the orders in Istvan’s chambers
Next, head up to the next level to trigger a cutscene. You’ll have to choose whether to get rid of Istvan dishonorably or duel him. It doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. Either way, he’ll be dispatched.
After you’ve dealt with Istvan, you’ll earn the Vengeance trophy. Head upstairs then take a left and head through the door at the end of the hall. Loot the chest next to the bed to collect your things and the castle keys!
Search for the orders in von Bergow’s chambers
Now you have to backtrack to the Maiden side. Use the upper walkway to reach it, as the ground level is barricaded. Once there, head up the stairs to von Bergow’s chambers where Godwin will join you! For us, Godwin found the orders in a trunk under a window behind the desk on the south side of the room.
Follow Godwin down into the passage
Follow Godwin as he slowly makes his way downstairs to the secret passage.
Accompany Zizka, Katherine, and Godwin to the end of the passageway
Follow the path until a cutscene triggers.
Meet Mika in the abandoned camp
Head southeast towards the objective, avoiding the enemies. If needed, remember that you can throw rocks to distract the guards. Once you reach the camp, untie Mika.
Go south to the double rock with the broken cart
Head south, avoiding the guards, until you reach near the broken cart.
Go uphill between the rocks
Follow the instructions uphill, slipping between the rocks.
Continue south until the edge of Apollonia
You’ll then need to continue heading south. Watch out as the enemies will like to spawn on you. Whenever you reach the objective marker, a cutscene will trigger leading to the end of the Storm main quest and The Sword and the Quill begins!
