Stingmon Overview (In-Game Profile)

An extremely unusual Insectoid Digimon with a humanoid shape. Stingmon possesses both the hard exoskeleton and the simple movements characteristic of Insectoid Digimon. Excelling as an assassin, it prides itself on attacks that target vitals with agile movements and precise judgment, silencing the enemy with a single strike.

Stingmon possesses a calm, cool and highly intelligent personality. It uses its fearsome special move Spiking Strike to skewer foes with the spikes on its arms.

Where to Find Stingmon

Stingmon cannot be found while exploring the Human or Digital Worlds. To add Stingmon as a partner in Digimon Story Time Stranger, you’ll need to digivolve a lower-generation Digimon or de-digivolve a higher-generation Digimon into Stingmon. Refer to the Stingmon Digivolution section below for more information.

Stingmon Digivolution

Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.

Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.

De-Digivolution

In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:

  • Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
  • Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.

Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.

Digivolution

Digivolution is the process of evolving a Digimon into a stronger form. Each Digimon can evolve along multiple branches depending on its stats, level, and personality. To digivolve a Digimon, you must meet certain requirements.
