Spoils of War Side Quest | Kingdom Come Deliverance II

Welcome to NGB and our Kingdom Come Deliverance II walkthrough for the Spoils of War quest! This guide will cover everything you need to know to easily complete this quest, including how to start the mission and the steps you will need to take to finish it.

How to Start the Spoils of War Quest

To begin the Spoils of War side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance II, speak with Captain Puta, who can be found wandering around Sigismund’s Camp, before noon. Agree to go and a cutscene will trigger, leading to the start of the quest.

Check Smil’s supplies

Speak with Smil, who is sitting on a bench near the wagon, about his supplies. You’ll then need to loot them next to the door.

On the southeastern side of town, loot the Cellar Key from the outhouse then use it to open the cellar across the road from it. You’ll then find the hidden beer.

Speak with Farmer Fowl then gather his supplies next to the gate.

Enter this house, then head upstairs to find fresh milk in the attic.

Next, head into the barn. Examine the empty stables and fresh manure. Go up the stairs to the second level. From there, work your way to the very top floor to find a hidden food stash and loot it. If you ask the farmer about the cow and confront him with evidence of manure and fresh milk, he’ll tell you where he hid it. Report this to your raiding party and they’ll send someone to look for it.

Enter Willow’s house to find the supplies just outside the room with the wounded person.

Next, examine the wounded villager. You’ll then need to treat him. Loot the mead from the shelf to use as a disinfectant. You’ll also need a bandage to redress the wound. When he comes to, he’ll tell you that soldiers came and they killed them.

If you return to the son’s father and tell him that you healed him, you can have him tell you where everyone hid their extra supplies.

Afterward, climb up the ladder in Willow’s barn to find additional food.

Bynyek’s supplies can be found inside the the house underneath the window.

Loot the supplies then head to the plague graves southwest of the village.

Dig up the left grave to find a sack and loot it.

Load the supplies on the cart

Head around to the wagon’s chest and put all the supplies inside. You must also include the items from the additional caches. Afterward, speak with the captain.

The captain will sentence the villagers to death if you don’t put the additional supplies in the chest or if you tell the captain that the villagers killed his men. You can either side with him or against him. You’ll need to fight whoever you sided against.

If you do not tell him that his men were killed and put the additional items in the chest, you’ll receive 175 groschen and no fighting will occur.
