South of Midnight Chapter 5 Collectibles Walkthrough

Welcome to NGB and our guide on the South of Midnight Chapter 5 collectibles. In this guide, you’ll find all the collectibles that can be retrieved as you play through Chapter 5 in South of Midnight. You’ll need to find all the Readables for the Lore Master Achievement. For the Floof Seeker Achievement, you’ll need to find all Floofs.

South of Midnight Chapter 5 Collectibles

Floof x5

After getting Crouton, switch over to him then head under the debris in front of the Preacher Jolene billboard to find this Floof.

Chapter 5 Readable 1/11 – Burrower’s Pieces of the Self

This letter can be found by interacting with the tree stump next to the burrow.

Floof x5

Blast the boards on the bottom of the trailer to reveal a path for Crouton. Switch over to Crouton then follow the path to reach the Floof.

This Floof can be found on the roof of a building in the water.

Floof x20

After breaking a small hole in the train car and switching to Crouton to clear the corruption from the train cars, switch back to your girl and head through the newly opened train car. Jump across the water to your left and blast the boards to reach this Floof.

When you see the giant statues, take a right and climb up on the semi. Follow the path to reach these Floofs.

Floof x5

This Floof can be found in the house supported by a tree and a rock. To reach it, you’ll need to throw Crouton on the front porch then enter through the small opening on the front door.

Chapter 5 Readable 2/11 – Statue Flyer

This note can be found tacked to a broken fence in front of Auntie Belle’s Diner sign.

Floof x20

After clearing the Stigma from the giant statues, climb up the axe to reach the Auntie Bell’s Diner sign. Atop you’ll find the Floof.

Floof x10

Behind Auntie Belle’s Diner, you’ll find a semi-truck in the water. Use it to reach a grabble point, then head to the Floof on the roof.

Chapter 5 Readable 3/11 – Burrower’s – Iron

After speaking with Jolene in the church, you’ll find yourself outside staring at a crate. Inspect the letter on this crate to find this collectible.

Floof x5

Between the church and the pasture with animals, break the boards along the bottom of the church then use Crouton to reach the Floof.

After crossing the water from the church, you’ll see a house right in front of you. This Floof will be located on the right side of the house.

Chapter 5 Readable 4/11 – Hollow Dreamers

This Readable can be found on the couch, which is on the front porch of the house next to the above Floof.

Floof x10

After fighting some enemies, you’ll see this Floof on a trailer’s roof. Climb up the cliff using the ledges then swing right to find a path where you can jump to the roof.

Tin Flip #1

This tin flip can be found at the base of the cliff holding the peach water tower.

Tin Flip #2

This tin flip can be found next to some exploding mushrooms across from the house just before the large Stigma.

Health Filament

After clearing the Stigma, head right of the house and use the grapple points to reach a sunflower island. There, you’ll be able to create constructs to reach the green orb atop the tall structure.

Chapter 5 Readable 5/11 – Kids Need a Hand

This Readable can be found inside the house with the bottle tree out front. It will be on the dining room table.

Chapter 5 Readable 6/11 – Jo’s Penance

In the same house as the above, head up the stairs to find this note in Jolene’s bedroom on the desk.

Floof x20

This Floof can be found on the roof of Hubbard’s Cupboard. To reach it, head behind the building and make the truck solid. You’ll then be able to climb on top of it then jump to the building.

This Floof can be found on top of a billboard. To reach it, jump from the cliff next to it.

After jumping by the shit sprinkler, take a right and head downhill to find this Floof near a water tower.

Floof x5

Before blasting through the doors to enter the large barn, head left and wall jump. Upon landing, take a right and enter the building you just ran across to reach this Floof.

Tin Flip #3

After blasting open the barn doors, take a right to find the tin flip amongst the pigs.

Tin Flip #4

This tin flip can be found along the main path near the squealing pig.

Tin Flip #5

This tin flip can be found next to a picnic table at the old farm.

Floof x5

This Floof can be found on a windmill. To reach it, construct the crate.

Floof x20

At the top of the windmill, jump over the stacked bales of hay. Head left and follow the path to the end to find this Floof after using the grapple point.

Chapter 5 Readable 7/11 – Yard Sale Notice

From the above collectible, turn around and hug the water until you spot a trailer on the left. Inspect the note on the chair of the front porch.

Tin Flip #6

This piece of tin can be found on the left side of the above house.

Floof x5

This Floof can be found inside the barn. Push back the wagon near the back then head around it to the other side and push it back against the barn. From there, climb up it to reach the ledge containing this Floof.

Tin Flip #7

After clearing the Stigma and seeing the grave, jump across the water to find this tin flip.

Chapter 5 Readable 8/11 – Honor thy Father and Mother

This letter can be found on the coffee table in the living room of the farmhouse with the bottle tree out front.

Floof x5

In the same house as the above, head upstairs to the bedroom to find this Floof.

Chapter 5 Readable 9/11 – A Bashful Farmhand in the Setting Sun

This letter can be found on a desk in the other upstairs bedroom across from the bedroom containing the above Floof.

Chapter 5 Readable 10/11 – The Pigs are a Loss

This note can be found on a table to the right of the door that you first enter the room through. It will be in the same room as the Floof.

Floof x5

This Floof can be found in the same room as the above Readable.

Tin Flip #8

This tin flip can be found in the room with the Tangle at the pig farm.

Floof x10

After exiting the pig farm, construct the two platforms in the water to reach this Floof.

Floof x5

After being swallowed, press forward until you spot the little piggy going around and around. Hop on a platform and mimic it. Jump to the Floof when you see it.

Chapter 5 Readable 11/11 – Sutter’s Will and Testament

The last Readable can be found along the main path after climbing up the ledge from going around and around with the little piggy (if you so chose to do!).
