South of Midnight Chapter 3 Collectibles

Welcome to NGB and our guide on the South of Midnight Chapter 3 collectibles. In this guide, you’ll find all the collectibles that can be retrieved as you play through Chapter 3 in South of Midnight. You’ll need to find all the Readables for the Lore Master Achievement. For the Floof Seeker Achievement, you’ll need to find all Floofs.

South of Midnight Chapter 3 Collectibles

Floof x 10

After learning to double jump, make your way across the gap then hug the right side to find a log you can jump over. Do so then clear the fallen tree to access this Floof.

Floof x20

This Floof will be found just off the main path. To reach it, you’ll need to jump across all the tree branches.

Chapter 3 Readable 1/7 – The Happiest Day

Inspect the firefly lantern drawing on the wall along the main path to acquire this readable.

Health Filament

This green item will be found along the main path and introduce you to Health Filaments.

Floof x5

After collecting the Health Filament, you’ll jump up some ledges. The main path will veer left. Take the right path at the willow tree to find this Floof between the thorny vines.

Instead of heading toward the item from your house, head left and jump across the platforms and vines to reach this Floof.

Floof x20

On your way to the bottle tree, you’ll spot a giant orange on your left. To the left of that orange, follow the path up and across the tree branches to reach this Floof.

On the way to the bottle tree, you’ll have to jump across a lake using platforms that you construct. On the other side, hug the left side to spot a platform you can raise in the water. Do so then jump to it to get the Floof.

Across from the Floof in the water, you’ll see a building. To the right of this building, you’ll need to pull out the giant crate and place it near the peach. Jump up and use it to reach the fallen log. On this log you’ll find the Floof.

Chapter 3 Readable 2/7 – The St. Sylvain Bulletin

This Readable will be on Rhubarb’s shack.

Chapter 3 Readable 3/7 – Follow the Lights

Head behind Rhubarb’s shack to the other shack. You’ll find this item on the dock.

You’ll find this Floof next to the above collectible.

Take the path to the left of the house then follow the path to the Floof.

Floof x5

Atop this house, you’ll find the Floof. To reach it, head around to the back of the house to find a spot that you can climb up.

You’ll find this Floof on the porch behind the building.

Chapter 3 Readable 4/7 – Ain’t Wanted Here

On the main path, you’ll come across a house with the door open. Head inside to find this note on a small table in the kitchen.

Head upstairs then go out on the roof. Jump the tree branches to reach this item.

Floof x10

Jump across the broken pieces of dock in the water to reach this Floof.

Chapter 3 Readable 5/7 – A Gift for Corrine

After the fight and filling the bottle with pain for the first time, you’ll find a house with stairs you can build. Instead of building these stairs, head through the house to reach a dock. On it, you’ll find this Readable.

Tin Flip #1

This Tin Flip can be found next to the above collectible.

Floof x20

Once you’ve gotten the above collectibles, build the stairs in the building then make your way to the roof where you’ll find this Floof.

Floof x10

This Floof can be found on the second level of a building along the main path. To reach it, use the wagon.

Tin Flip #2

Behind the above building, you’ll find a dock. Follow the path to reach a tin flip.

Floof x10

Continue on the main path and construct the roof in the water. After doing so, look ahead to find some climbable tree branches. Use them to reach the Floof. Be careful of the sea urchin things near the Floof.

Tin Flip #3

Head to the right of this building which is along the main path, then jump over the thorn vine. On the other side, blast through the wall to find this tin flip.

After fighting the enemies, head between the house and large tree. Follow the path around to reach this Floof atop a tree branch.

You’ll find this Floof on the second level of the house in the fighting area.

After fighting the next group of enemies, you’ll see an island you can jump to with a bunch of sea urchin things on it. At the end of this path, you’ll find the Floof.

Floof x20

When introduced to the Stranded Wall that you can run on, take a left and head across a different Stranded Wall. Once on the other side, follow the path right to reach this Floof on a stone clifftop.

Jump down from the above collectible towards the Stranded Wall then continue straight. Use the tree branches to reach this Floof.

After crossing the rooftops along the main path, you’ll land on a log. Instead of following it to the right, head left and follow the path to the Floof.

Tin Flip #4

After watching the spirits escape, head between the brambles and blast the foliage to reach this tin flip.

After wall running across a Stranded Wall, you’ll come to a large house that you’ll need to go inside to continue along the main path. Before heading inside, walk around the porch to the back of the house to find this Floof.

Chapter 3 Readable 6/7 – Beggin’ your pardon, Mayor

Head inside the above house. You’ll find this letter on a table in the kitchen.

Chapter 3 Readable 7/7 – Come One, Come All!

In the same building as the above, head upstairs to find this note tacked to a pole.
