Welcome to NGB and our guide on the South of Midnight Chapter 2 collectibles. In this guide, you’ll find all the collectibles that can be retrieved as you play through Chapter 2 in South of Midnight. You’ll need to find all the Readables for the Lore Master Achievement. For the Floof Seeker Achievement, you’ll need to find all Floofs.

South of Midnight Chapter 2 Collectibles
Floof x10
During the “Follow the ghosts to the river” objective, you’ll emerge from the cave. When you do, you’ll see a large, white, glowy thing in front of you! Interact with it to collect 10 Floofs.
Chapter 2 Readable 1/4 – The Weaver’s Call
During the “Find a way inside the house” objective, you’ll see the ghosts next to a bridge then they have to run off to hide. Before entering the house they go into, head straight ahead and enter the house on the left with the open front door. Inside, inspect the lantern design on the wall next to a quilt.

Exit the above house and take a left. Head between the houses then take a right to spot some Floof.

When facing the house with the purple wisteria, enter the house on its left. Once inside, climb up the fireplace then jump to the roof. The Floof will be on this ledge.

After you acquire the spell skill by heading into the house the ghosts went into, backtrack to the cliff where you saw Seniors ’84 written on the wall. Use the spell to craft a platform that you can jump onto to reach the ledge.

After crossing the bridge, you’ll fight some enemies to clear the goop. Before heading into the house to continue on, look to the right of the house to spot some Floof down a path under the thorn vine.
Tin Flip #1
After exiting the house into the area with high plants, hug the left side to find a piece of metal that you can use your new ability to flip over.
Tin Flip #2
Across from the small brick building, you’ll spot another path leading into the tall plants. Follow it to find another piece of metal you can flip.

After jumping over the small brick building, follow the path. On the left you’ll see a circular building. Blast through the gate then head inside to find the Floof awaiting.
Tin Flip #3
Exit the circular building then hug the left path under the willow trees to find this piece of flippable tin.
Floof x5
After defeating the enemies, head down the newly opened path to the right of the building to find this Floof.
Chapter 2 Readable 2/4 – Spirits, Speak to Me!
After pulling the crate inside the barn and jumping up the ledges to the top, you’ll spot a barrel next to the open window. Interact with the note on this barrel to get this Readable.

After jumping down from the barn and defeating the enemies, you’ll find this tin flip on the wooden walkway near the dock by the barn.
Chapter 2 Readable 3/4 – Please Speak to Me…
Press forward just a bit to find the spirits on top of a ledge, mentioning how the fire didn’t catch. Instead of following them to the right, head left and blast away the brush. Inside this alcove, you’ll find this Readable.

You’ll find this Floof next to the above objective.
Floof x10
Blast away the boards blocking the mine cart then pull it out. Afterward, you’ll be able to head inside and grab the Floof.

Head up the hill to find this Floof along the main path.
Chapter 2 Readable 4/4 – Stigma and Sorrow
Once you slide down the cave, you’ll enter a tunnel. Inspect the lantern drawing on the wall.

When you get to the spot where you can throw rocks from a box at the vines, look down and to the right to find a boat you can construct to reach the Floof.
