How to Star the Soldier’s Solace Search Quest
To begin the Soldier’s Solace quest, speak with the Exhausted Woman at Angler’s Inn Square in Port Brilehaven.
Soldier’s Solace Search Quest Details
The Exhausted Woman will tell you about a human attack in which many young recruits were injured. She needs ingredients to make a special medicine for them and requests our help with getting them. Specifically, she’ll need 7 samples of Dragonthistle Berry, which grows in the Gracia Forest.

Gather Intel
If you wish to be more prepared, travel to the Greatest Catch tavern in Angler’s Inn Square and speak with the Seasoned Man to purchase the “Avian of Gracia Forest” intel. You’ll learn that the Kokasados that lords over the forest also likes them. He will unleash a powerful attack if it gets an opening with some that can one-hit kill you. Bringing someone who can boost your defenses will reduce the damage you take, and it’s quite weak to projectiles, so an Archetype like the Gunner could be helpful.
Travel to Gracia Forest
Collect the Dragonthistle Berry
When you reach the forest, the map will have 7 objective markers that indicate where the plants with the berries are located. Head to each location to collect the Dragonthistle berries.
After collecting the last one, you’ll be attacked by the Kokasados. For this fight, you’ll be taking on the Kokasados. A Level 35 Bird Monster that is weak to piercing attacks. It will start the battle by using Poison Breath, trying to poison all of your party members. After that, it will use an assortment of regular and wind-based attacks. If you can, you’ll want to cast Rakukaja on the party. The Kokasados will target anyone who doesn’t have it using its Peck of Death attack, which will result in a one-hit KO.

Deliver the Goods
With all of the berries in your possession, return to the Exhausted Woman at Angler’s Inn Square in Port Brilehave to deliver them. This will trigger an event where you’ll learn why the lady was so focused on getting the medicine. When it concludes, the quest will end, and you’ll gain an increase in your Popularity Rank.
Rewards
You’ll be rewarded with a Dragonblood Sap and 30,000 reeve for completing this quest.
