How to Start the Seeking Justice Quest
To begin the Seeking Justice quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, speak with Captain Frenzl in Suchdol, telling him that we heard he’s looking for a thief.

Seeking Justice Walkthrough
Captain Frenzl is looking for a thief from Wysoka. And since I was the one who helped Pavel with the theft, I decided to help him.
Find Pavel
Travel to Kuttenberg and speak with a street vendor, asking about someone who is trying to sell stuff. You’ll now see three traders on your map to speak with. Speak with one of them, and they will point you to the Hole in the Wall tavern.

At the Hole in the Wall, speak with Innkeeper Mole and persuade him to loosen his tongue. He’ll tell you that he bought everything but the book. You can purchase the stolen items!

Next, enter the doorway to the right of the stocks then head through the building to reach the outdoors.

Take the stairs here up to the second level where you’ll find Scribe Tietz Vetter. Ask him about the book. He’ll have purchased it and mentioned that Pavel inquired about the town’s cobblers. You can then purchase the book. Read it to level the scholarship skill.
Travel to Cobbler Linhart (who is the northern cobbler) and ask about Pavel. You’ll find out that he’s apprenticing. You can then buy the fine shoes from the other cobbler, Master Johlin.
Talk to Pavel
If you confront Pavel, he’ll mention that he started having second thoughts during the whole operation. He had just learned that he was never going to get the girl because of his status, so he decided to take the stolen objects to try and learn a trade. Following his confession, he’ll beg Henry not to say anything.
Talk to the captain
Return to Suchdol and speak with Captain Frenzl. You can tell him that you found the stolen items and return them if you purchased them. He’ll give you 70 groschen for returning them. If you tell him where Pavel is, you’ll get 100 groschen. If you tell him that Pavel got away, you’ll get 60 groschen.
