How to Start the Secret of the Snowy Peaks

To begin this quest, travel to the snowy region between Mount Granajh and Daval Peak. At the summit, you’ll discover the ruins of an old cabin with the Mountain Peak Log journal resting on a rock inside.

Reading the journal will officially start the quest and provide a clue on how to reveal the hidden shrine: “The shrine slumbers near the pedestal on a snowy Gerudo peak. When the snowy mountain pedestal glows, cast a cold shadow on its core.”
Solving the Riddle and Revealing the Shrine
Solving the Riddle

The pedestal mentioned in the riddle is located southeast of the cabin, on the slope of the nearby mountain. To solve the puzzle, pick up a medium or large snowball and stand on the ledge overlooking the pedestal.

Position Link so the snowball’s shadow falls directly over the center of the pedestal. As the sun moves across the sky in the afternoon (around 4:00 PM in-game time), the pedestal will begin to glow.
Revealing the Shrine

Once activated, the hidden shrine will rise from the ground nearby on the other side of the house. This will then complete the shrine quest.
