How to Begin Secret of the Queen Mother
You’ll automatically begin the Secret of the Queen Mother quest in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle after speaking with Professor Omar during The Idol of Ra adventure quest.
Secret of the Queen Mother Walkthrough
For this quest, you’ll need to find the Queen Mother’s Tomb. Before setting off for the tomb, make sure to grab the Khentkawes Dig Map from the table next to Professor Omar.
Once you have the map, travel to the Tomb of Khentkawes I in the southern part of Gizeh. Work your way to the lift and read a note on the electrical box next to the elevator shaft saying that the power is being diverted.
First, follow the red wire from the electric box through the area until you reach a switch just before an ancient mural.
Once the power has been diverted, return to the elevator then follow the blue wire. When you enter the doorway, instead of following the blue wire left, head right.
Head straight ahead and enter the doorway. Take the stairs up to reach the switch. Instead of dealing with the enemies, just flip the switch as the problem will then resolve itself.
When facing the switch, head through the doorway to the left. Follow the wooden walkway right then look left to see a grapple point.
If you use your whip to swing across then walk across the wooden planks and drop down, you’ll find an Ancient Relic.
To proceed, head through the doorway submerged in water.
You’ll then need to follow the path to reach a second switch for the blue wire.
Afterwards, return to the elevator and flip the switch then ride the elevator down. At the bottom, follow the path to find a mural puzzle. To solve this puzzle put the stone glyphs in the correct order. The order is as follows: bird, snake, fish.
A light will then emit from the mural. Pick up the nearby sledgehammer and bring it to the wall lit by the mural’s light. Smash on through this wall then crouch through the opening. Inside this hidden chamber, pick up the light stele.
Now that you’ve found what you’re looking for, return to Omar to complete the quest.
