Digimon Story Time Stranger Ryudamon Field Guide

Ryudamon Overview (In-Game Profile)
Because of the antiquated interface on its forehead, this Beast Digimon is presumed to be an experimental “Prototype Digimon” from the time before Digimon were discovered. Ryudamon is covered in Japanese-style armor that boasts high defense, yet its movements are quite nimble, allowing it to jump in and fight at brazenly close range. The more it fights, the more it cultivates combat prowess.
Ryudamon possesses gallantry, a samurai spirit, and a soul that renders it unafraid of powerful enemy Digimon. The data hidden within the deepest part of its DigiCore during the experiment contains such fierce combat data as warlords and dragons from Japanese mythology.
Ryudamon is thought to possess the potential to grow into a mighty Digimon. Its special move is Iai Blade, with which it leaps up to the opponent to fire an iron blade from its mouth at point-blank range.

Ryudamon Digivolution

Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
