RoboCop Evaluation Report – Breaking News
Below is a full breakdown of the XP you can earn during the Breaking News objective and what’s required to achieve an A rank:

Investigations
TV Station Secret #1
After your first breach with Lewis, you’ll enter a hallway where she stops near a side room. Enter the room and scan the man in the suit slumped against a desk to uncover the first secret.
TV Station Secret #2
Once you complete the Objectives Investigation tutorial and exit the elevator, you’ll fight through a large cubicle-filled area. Head to the northwest conference room, then scan the pill bottles near a TV on the counter.
Police Work – Hostage Rescues
Save the Office Hostage
Shortly after Secret #2, you’ll reach the second breach point. Interact with the doors to initiate the Hostage Situation tutorial. Upon breaching:
- Eliminate the enemy standing directly next to the hostage.
- Take out the enemy to his right.
- Finish off the enemies on the left.
⚠️ If the hostage dies, restart from the checkpoint. Be aware that this places you back at the elevator, meaning you’ll need to clear the cubicles and scan Secret #2 again.
Save the Studio Hostages
Following an explosion on a metal walkway, RoboCop will fall into a studio set. Proceed to the Authorized Personnel Only doors. Breach to begin the final hostage sequence:
- Target the right-side enemy.
- Deal with the three in the middle (left of the hostages).
- Take down the masked enemy in the back.
- Finish with the enemy on the far left.
You must act swiftly before the slow-motion ends—if you fail, you’ll restart from the metal bridge before the explosion.
Police Work – Crime Evidence
As you explore Channel 9 Headquarters, you’ll need to collect crime evidence to reach the required 750 points for a full Police Work score. Evidence includes:
- Fake ID Cards
- Nuke
- Stolen Wallets
- Counterfeit Money
- Incriminating Documents/Pictures
- Stolen Handbags
You’ll find these items scattered around—check counters, desks, floors, and tucked-away corners. Be thorough and scan frequently to ensure you don’t miss anything.
