How to Begin Riddles of the Ancients

To begin the Riddles of the Ancients quest in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, you’ll need to discover one of the 24 ancient relics.

Riddles of the Ancients Walkthrough

For this quest, you’ll need to find the 24 ancient relics in Sukhothai.

Ancient Relic #1

This relic can be found northwest of Wat SaSi in the temple. You’ll need to crawl through the space behind the wagons to reach the temple.

It’s where the Lost in the Past fieldwork is. To reach it, crawl through the tunnel to reach it.

Ancient Relic #2

This relic can be found at the Fascist Armory on a table.

Ancient Relic #3

This relic can be found during the Kid Who Vanished quest after raising the lift so Gina can climb up. Once she does, you’ll pull the lever at the same time as her to open a door. Once this door has been opened, head inside to find this ancient relic straight ahead.

Ancient Relic #4

You’ll need to smash through the wall to get to this relic.

Ancient Relic #5

This relic can be found during the Kid Who Vanished quest. When Aran leads you into the hidden chamber with the Shiva Shrine, you’ll find this relic on the shrine.

Ancient Relics #6 – 11

To acquire these ancient relics, you’ll need to solve the cogwheel puzzles at the following locations:

• Southeast of Tongdang’s Hut
• Waterfall Ruins
• East of Wat Chana Songkhram
• Wat Mahathat
• Wat Si Sawai
• River Bank

Ancient Relic #12

Complete The Serpent’s Chest quest to receive this relic!

Ancient Relic #13

This relic can be found in an old building west of Voss’ Camp.

Ancient Relic #14

To find this relic, you’ll need to squeeze between the rocks behind the waterfall. Place the relics into the holes until all the holes have been caused to jut out.

This will open the door revealing the relic.

Ancient Relic #15

When escaping from the giant snake, you’ll emerge from the water into the ruins. Instead of proceeding forward, turn around to find a path that you can take to reach this ancient relic.

If you jump down into the area with the steep cliffs, you’ve gone too far. It is at the start of the Hidden Pyramid.

Ancient Relic #16

During the main story, you’ll come to a room in the Hidden Pyramid with the snake swimming in the middle. Turn right to find this relic on a stone column.

Ancient Relic #17

This relic can be found on a ledge in the Hidden Pyramid.

Ancient Relic #18

This relic can be found on a rock pillar in the middle of the lake near the Hidden Pyramid.

Ancient Relic #19

This relic can be found in the room with the spinning cogwheels during the A Study in Fear quest.

Ancient Relic #20

After escaping the sarcophagus room and reaching dry ground during the A Study in Fear quest, you’ll find this ancient relic nearby.

Ancient Relic #21

This relic can be found in the burial chamber during A Study in Fear quest.

Ancient Relic #22

After solving the big board game with the humans, the door to the lost temple will open. Jump into the water to find the ancient relic.

Ancient Relic #23

After heading into the next room from the water, you’ll reach a moment with dead people sitting in front of it. Head down the stairs on the other side of it and look to the right to find a branch you can grapple to, allowing you to reach the relic.

Ancient Relic #24

This relic can be found in the room with the leeches.
