How to Start the Requests from a Friend: Josee Quest
To begin the Requests from a Friend: Josee side quest in Code Vein II, you must first slay the first or second main story hero for Lou to make a comment about feeling Valentin. When this occurs, a bond will form up the stairs near the stained glass in the back of MagMell. Interact with it to be sent to the 2187: Free Exploration Era.
Requests from a Friend: Josee Walkthrough
Speak to Josee
Once in 2187: Free Exploration Era, speak with Josee in the dining room of the MagMell. To reach the dining room, head behind Valentin and go through the door between the stairs, and take a right. She will be in the first room on the left.
Josee’s Request
For this request, you will need to collect the spice Josee needs.
Josee’s Request: Sunken City
In search of the spice in the Sunken City, travel to Josee’s Outpost: Front Gate and follow the road south to reach a large, ruined building named “ENED INDUSTRY”.
Head inside via the western side and work your way up to the upper floors, where you’ll find the Rich Spice on some furniture.
Now that you have the spice, return to Josee. You’ll receive the Homemade Curry.
Josee’s Request: Corroded Scar
To find this spice, travel to the Northern Watch Fort in the northernmost point of Corroded Scar. Once there, work your way up until you reach the Theodore – Mutinous Knight prayer altar. Just past this altar, enter the doorway and take a right. Head under the stairs to find the Aromatic Spice.
With the spice in hand, return to Josee to deliver the spice to receive the Fragrant Curry.
Josee’s Request: Undead Forest
To gain access to the Undead Forest in the past, you will need to first complete the Slaying the Hero Holly quest.
When you are able, travel to a side room on the southeastern side of the Withered Greenhouse, just past the Plagued Village, to find the Hot Spice.
With the spice in hand, return to Josee at MagMell and deliver it to her to receive Spicy Curry.
Josee’s Request 2
After delivering the Hot Spice to Josee, speak with her again to acquire her second request. For this request, you will need to help Josee find the secret spice to complete the special curry of her memories.
To begin, travel to the Mountain Underground Facility east of the Checkpoint Ruins in the Sunken City. When you arrive, work your way to the side room west of the Underground Storage mistle in the southwestern part of the area. Once there, you will encounter the Spice Predator. Defeat this boss to receive the Mountain Underground Facility Key, Red Shoes, and Loving Curry.
