How to Start the Reckoning Quest
The Reckoning main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will begin after completing Hunger and Despair.

Get help
Change your clothes to some from Prague. On the eastern side of the search area, look for the spot marked laundry.
There you’ll find some clothes in a chest by the shack. Grab them then equip them!
Afterward, head into the camp. Listen in on the guards’ conversations to learn that the password is “liquor”. A soldier will stop you on the south side of the camp. This soldier is from Maleshov. If you stopped the Dry Devil from killing everyone in the village, you can persuade him to let you go inside to look for Sam.
Find food
First things first, grab some food!! You’ll find it on plates around the town.
Find Von Aulitz
East of the tavern you’ll find a long building. Climb up the ladder to reach the loft.
Walk across the beams to the other side of the building and drop down. Exit the building to see a soldier sitting next to a campfire and tent. Hug the right side and enter the second door on the right. Unlock the very hard door to reach the kitchen of the tavern. Interact with the next door to earn the Face to Face trophy for finally meeting Markvart von Aulitz.
After the cutscene, you’ll need to decide whether you’ll take your revenge or not. If you spare him, he won’t call for the guards.
Find Sam in the camp
You’ll find Sam in a house by the smokehouse in the southwestern part of town.
To get inside, climb the ladder on the side of the building. Inside you’ll find the betrayer with Sam. Defeat him! You can choose to make the deal with him or not and to spare him or not. If you let him go, he’ll call out for the guards and you’ll need to kill him (and them), so save yourself the trouble and just kill him!
Speak with Sam then pick him up.
Exit the building and hug the right side. Hug the eastern buildings to reach the main road. At the main road, take a right and head south. When you can, swing to the west and head for the barn. When you reach the horse, interact with it to set off. Please note that if Sam is not with you, he will die. The Reckoning main quest will end and the Last Rites quest will begin.
