How to Start the Proof of Power Quest
Travel to Opera House Square in Altabury Heights, and then speak with the Obsessive Solider near the stairs at the beginning of the area. He’ll proclaim that he has to step up and stop Louis to protect his family despite Gallica’s protests.
Afterwards, he’ll then say that if we can defeat the Ziocropos at the Tower of Insolence, then we’ll be strong enough to take down Louis in his stead.
Proof of Power Quest Guide
Gather Intel
Travel to the Skyward Tavern in Altabury Heights and speak with the Informed Woman to purchase the “Giant of the Tower of Insolence” intel. She’ll then tell you that the tower is home to Cyclops and that it will rage if it’s the last one standing.
While facing the Ziocropos, bows, and spears will be effective against it. The informant will then show you where the Tower of Insolence can be found on the world map.
Travel to the Tower of Insolence
When you’re ready to take on the Tower of Insolence, head to the Gauntlet Runner and use the round table to travel there.
Explore the Tower
You’ll need to ascend the tower to reach the top, where you’ll find the Ziocropos awaiting you.

Boss Fight (Ziocropos)
The boss of this dungeon is the Level 58 Ziocropos, which is weak to both piercing and wind attacks but drains electric attacks.
It will cast Soul Cry during its first turn, gaining two additional actions. It will then summon another Ziocropos, removing all of your buffs.
From that point, the two will use physical attacks and skills to buff those attacks.
Once they fall, you’ll receive the Bramblethron Baton.
Deliver the Trophy
Return to Altabury Heights and head for Opera House Square. Speak with the Obsessive Soldier there to deliver the Bramblethorn Baton. This will complete the quest.
Rewards
You’ll receive 82,500 reeve and some points into your Courage Royal Attribute for completing this quest.
